Tried to stare the page out for a few days, to see if it would improve that way. Nothing happened. Then moved around the frames and skipped one baby (i.e. darling). And suddenly... perfect! ;-)

Great story by danish author Johannes V. Jensen. I started drawing a few years ago, lost track for a while but picked it up again.

First page might look something like this. The beheaded person in last frame should really get a head. That would probably also help the composition a bit.
